The Academy of Superheroes was founded by Augustin Marin, a developmental educator registered with Developmental Educators Australia Inc. Augustin has a passion for promoting healthy habits from an early age and has extensive experience providing fitness therapy and mentoring to individuals with disability. He has acquired a unique set of skills via his qualifications in disability, fitness, and management of aggressive behaviour via de-escalation techniques. As a developmental educator, he also has access to a range of validated cognitive and emotional assessments to better evaluate support needs and progress. His skills and knowledge allow him to adopt a comprehensive approach to cater for the diverse needs of NDIS participants.

Qualifications

Master in Disability Studies, Specialisation in Sensory Disabilities (Macquarie University, Australia)

Master of Business Administration (MBA; École des Hautes Études Commerciales, Canada)

Certificate III, Certificate IV, and Diploma in Fitness (Onfit Training College, Australia)

Instructor - Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA; Crisis Prevention Institute, Australia)
